Jane Cleveland

Poinciana Farm was developed by Jane Cleveland & Centaur Land Company. Jane continues her role as Manager of the Farm overseeing daily operations and staff. She is a Grand Prix dressage rider and has a career in real estate. Jane currently serves as Chairman of the Equestrian Preserve Committee for the Village of Wellington and serves on the United States Dressage Federation Audit Committee. She is from Miami, spent many years in Nashville, TN, moving to Wellington full time in 2012 after competing here many years seasonally.

“As I have ridden, trained, competed and taken care of  dressage horses over many years, I have dreamed of the barn I would build;  as my real estate career enabled the riding, training, competition and care of my horses.  Poinciana Farm is the combination of the dream and my real estate development experience, set in my native, authentic South Florida.”

Horse Care Manager

Robin Shehan

Robin brings a lifetime of horse experience to Poinciana Farm as the Horse Care Manager, where she oversees feed and turn-out of the horses plus attention to clients. Robin has a Certificate in Teaching/Education of Equestrian Sport from the Westmoreland Davis International Equestrian Institute in Leesburg, VA, and she has studied at the International Academy for Equestrian Studies in Warendorf, Germany. She has many years of barn management and medical horse care experience, plus a wealth of dressage competition experience as a USDF gold and silver medalist. In addition to her riding, Robin was also a ballerina for many years, dancing as a soloist with the Alaska Dance Theatre Corps, the Maryland Ballet Theatre, the Annapolis Ballet Theatre, as well as studying at the Magadon Arts Festival in Russia.

Facilities Manager

Rafael (Rafa) Sesin

Rafa hails from Tlaxcala, Mexico where he was born into an equestrian family and began riding horses before he could walk. He made a career as owner, manager and trainer at his family’s Hipico Atlihuetzia, Riding Academy and Stables, and competed professionally up to the 1.30 meter level. He came to Wellington in 2016 transporting jumpers from Mexico where he found the love of his life and is now settled in the U.S. for good. Rafa oversees all of the facilities and maintenance at Poinciana Farm.
